Eric Mullet College Signing

Senior Eric Mullet (son of Brian and Rena) will continue his baseball career with Malone University. Some of the other Hiland alumni playing for the Pioneers – Todd Ropp, Jordan Yoder, Clyde Yoder and Ritchie Mast. Congrats to Eric!

Lady Hawks Soccer Award Recipients

Lady Hawks had their Soccer banquet on Sunday, 11/22.  Special award winners (L to R): Lindsey Yoder – Defensive MVP; Megan Kandel – Coach’s Award; Sarah Menuez – Ms. Soccer; Beth Boyles – Coach’s Award; Brandi Raber – Offensive MVP. Congrats to the Lady Hawk Soccer program!

Hiland Golfer Mark Schlabach Signing

Hiland’s 2015-2016 State Golf Division 3 Medalist had his college signing this week.  Mark put ink to paper and will continue his golf career at Malone University. Congrats to Mark for his hard work during his high school career! Go Hawks… and Go Pioneers!  

Boys Soccer Banquet Awards

Boys Soccer held their banquet Friday, November 13. Receiving special awards (L to R): Jared Yoder – Coach’s Award; Joe Wengerd – Defensive MVP; Zach Miller – Mr. Soccer; Andy Miller – Coach’s Award. Derek Miller (unable to be present) received the Offensive MVP Award. Congrats to the boys soccer program!  

Boys Golf Banquet Awards

The Golf team had their banquet on Tuesday, 11/10.  Receiving special recognition: Adam Grate – Most Improved, Mark Schlabach – Mr. Golf, Jacob Kalman – Most Consistent, Tremper Coblentz – Most Dedicated. Congrats to the entire team for their 7th place finish during the OHSAA State Tournament this year!

Volleyball Award Winners

The volleyball program had their banquet at New Grounds. (L to R): Rhiana Schlabach  Outstanding Offense, Tori Yoder Coach’s Award, Sheila Mast Hawk Award and Brittany Wengerd Outstanding Defense and Ms. Volleyball awards. Boys Golf State Results

After two years of being on the cusp of achieving their goal, the Hiland Golf team finally made their state appearance last weekend in Columbus. The team finished 6th overall. Senior Adam Grate had a great weekend and received 2nd Team All-Ohio recognition.  Senior Mark Schlabach etched his name on the Division 3 State Tournament

Hiland Girls 8th Grade Volleyball win the IVC Tourn @ Malvern

Saturday, October 17, 2015 9:00 AM Hiland High School AWAY 2 IVC Tourn @ Malvern HOME 0 Game Recap Lady Hawks went through Malvern and Strasburg to reach the championship game against Ridgewood. The match was hard fought but the Lady Hawks prevail 2-0 to win the IVC championship.
